Project Management

Anyone can create or view a Project in GitDailies, but there are restrictions on who can perform different actions for an existing Project.

Project Ownership

Each Project has an owner. By default, the owner is the person who created the Project. The Project owner has full control over all Project settings, Project alerts, and the Project report.

Transfer Project Ownership

If you want someone else to take charge of a Project, ownership can be transferred from the Transfer ownership section of the Danger Zone panel in the Project settings.

Project Admins

The Project owner can define a set of users with admin rights for the Project. This is done in the Project Admins panel in the Project settings.

The actions that a Project admin can carry out are shown in the Permitted Actions table.

This table shows which Project actions are allowed for each type of user.
